Supportive Services is again sponsoring the following CONTESTS:
- LAKOTA CHILDREN'S CALENDAR CONTEST
- CHRISTMAS CARD DESIGNING AND DRAWING CONTEST
- CHRISTMAS VERSE WRITING COMPETITION
- ANTI-DRUG & ALCOHOL JINGLE or SLOGAN CONTEST
All entries submitted will be judged by the Supportive Services staff and a representative from the Shannon County's Parent/Advisory Committee. Winners will be selected for the cover, and each month of the calendar.
Four winners will be picked for the Verse Writing Competition; and a total of 12 winners will be selected for the Anti-Drug & Alcohol Contest.
Prizes will be awarded to all winners.
The Supportive Services staff asks that you support this activity by ordering cards and calendars for resale as a fundraiser for various activities or for staff use. If this activity doesn't receive orders for cards and calendars this year it may have to be eliminated in the future. This is an important activity and should be supported by the school and staff.
