K-5 Speech Contest is November 9, 2010 with Alternate Date of November 15, 2010
6-8 Speech Contest is November 10, 2010

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the gymnasium.
Competition begins at 10:00 a.m.
Lunch is from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. in the gym. (Please bring sack lunches.)
Competition continues, if necessary.
Presentation of awards begins immediately following competition in the gym.

The Lower Elementary Speech Contest is held for students in grades K-5.

The K-5 Speech Contest is held at the Batesland School.

The Upper Elementary Speech Contest is held for students in grades 6-8.
The contest is held at the Wolf Creek School in the junior high wing

Students choose from one of six categories and compete against students from their own grade.

A small fee of $2.00 per student will be required with the pre-registration form. The fee will be used to help cover the cost of the contest. This request will apply to any non-Shannon County school. Submit the pre-registration sheet and entry fee to:
