Pre K-4 Speech Contest is November 7, 2012 with Alternate Date of November 13, 2012 5-8 Speech Contest is November 8, 2012 with Alternate Date of November 14, 2012 Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. Competition begins at 10:00 a.m. Lunch is from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. in the gym. (Please bring sack lunches.) Competition continues, if necessary. The Lower Elementary Speech Contest is held for students in grades Pre K-4.
The Pre K-4 Speech Contest is held at the Batesland School.
The Upper Elementary Speech Contest is held for students in grades 5-8. The contest is held at the Wolf Creek School in the junior high wing Students choose from one of six categories and compete against students from their own grade.
A small fee of $2.00 per student will be required with the pre-registration form. The fee will be used to help cover the cost of the contest. This request will apply to any non-Shannon County school. Submit the pre-registration sheet and entry fee to:
